Getting the right battery
Batteries are not one size fits all. Cars with stop-start need an EFB or AGM battery, and fitting the wrong type can shorten its life or upset the stop-start system. When you enter your registration we only show batteries that fit your car, with each one’s warranty.
- Test. We test the old battery and the charging system, so we know the battery is the real problem.
- Fit. We fit the new battery and check the terminals and mountings.
- Register. On some cars the new battery has to be registered with the car’s computer so it is charged correctly. We do this where needed.
- Recycle. Your old battery is disposed of properly. Fitting and disposal are included in the price you see.
