What we look after on a Jaguar
Ingenium engines
Most Jaguars since 2015 have Ingenium petrol or diesel engines, which need oil to Jaguar Land Rover’s approval. We use the right grade and keep an ear out for timing chain noise.
Diesel particulate filters
XE, XF and F-Pace diesels doing short trips can clog the particulate filter. We look for early signs and can clean it if needed.
Jaguar I-Pace
The electric I-Pace still needs brake, tyre, suspension and cabin filter care, done by our IMI Level 3 qualified technicians.
Jaguar engines and what they need
Ingenium 2.0 engines
The XE, XF, E-Pace and F-Pace use Jaguar’s Ingenium petrol and diesel engines. They need oil to Jaguar’s own specification, and the diesels have a particle filter that suits longer runs.
V6 diesels
Older XF, XJ and F-Pace models with the 2.7 or 3.0 V6 diesel have a cambelt and a water pump that are changed together at the set interval.
I-Pace electric
The I-Pace still needs its brakes, coolant, suspension and cabin filter looked after. Our technicians hold the IMI Level 3 qualification for electric cars.

Yes. We use oil that meets Jaguar Land Rover’s approval for your engine.
Can you service an older Jaguar?
Yes, from the X-Type and S-Type through to today’s models.
Will servicing my Jaguar here affect the warranty?
No. A new Jaguar normally has a three-year, unlimited-mileage warranty. UK rules let an independent garage service it in that time, as long as Jaguar’s schedule is followed and suitable parts are used. We give you an itemised invoice.
Do you service the Jaguar I-Pace?
Yes. Our technicians are IMI Level 3 qualified for electric cars. We follow Jaguar’s schedule for the brakes, coolant, filters and checks.
