The Volvos we look after
V40 and S60
The V40 is the Volvo we see most. The D2, D3 and D4 diesels need the Volvo-approved low-ash oil to protect the particle filter, which clogs on short runs.
XC60, XC90 and V70
All-wheel-drive Volvos use a Haldex coupling that needs its oil and filter changed at set mileages. Older five-cylinder D5 engines also have a cambelt to change.
Recharge plug-in hybrids
T6 and T8 Recharge models have a petrol engine and a high-voltage battery. Our IMI Level 3 qualified technicians service both sides of the car.

Yes. Our team is IMI Level 3 qualified for hybrid and electric cars.

Yes, as long as the work follows Volvo’s schedule and uses suitable parts.
Will servicing my Volvo here affect the warranty?
No. A new Volvo normally has a three-year warranty with a mileage limit. UK rules let an independent garage service it in that time, as long as Volvo’s schedule is followed and suitable parts are used. We give you an itemised invoice.
Does my Volvo need a Haldex oil change?
Only all-wheel-drive models have a Haldex coupling. If yours does, we check when its oil and filter were last changed and add it to the service when it is due.
